When the Tree Calls

Wounded and alone in the desert, U.S. Army soldier Aron Coverstone fights for his life with the enemy closing in. All hope seems lost, until a mysterious portal thrusts the soldier from one conflict to another found on a distant world. With a family lineage of military veterans, it was only natural for Aron to answer the call to serve his country. Discovering the near-dead Aron while traveling through the lands of Parise, brave and determined Iyla, of the native Neclu Pelri race, sees an opportunity to recruit this strange new warrior for her own mission; to rescue a long-lost friend from an evil that has seized the land. As Aron and Iyla agree to an uneasy alliance, they must form an unlikely pact to aid each other in their quests. But as the secrets of Athemoni start to unravel, Aron begins to wonder, did he really fall into this new world by chance?
