Westphalen, F: Church

Using the nursery rhyme, "Here is the Church," Fanelda Westphalen, expands the well-known verse to provide the reader with the "rest of the story." Fanelda illustrates how to lead a Christ-centered life utilizing God-given gifts, serving others and giving glory to God. Daughter, Dana Schroeder, photographed the family church to capture its German architecture and history. The images beautifully showcase the details of this 1889-built Lutheran place of worship. Dana's vivid imagery as the backdrop for this poem's "call to action," is sure to encourage and inspire others to grow the invisible church and bear witness to God's wonder and grace.
