Tour of the Grand Junction Canal

This is a classic reprint of a book published in 1819, before the coming of railways when canals were in their prime. the author, an accomplished London artist, produced a series of engravings to accompany his text, and although the locations can be identified today, he presents them as they were 200 years ago. This vauable historical record has been reset in a new edition with an introduction and footnotes to explain obscure references.
