The Prize

Holly loves to surf. It connects her with her ancestors and her deceased father. Surfing changes for her the day she sees Lily ride a wave and they become friends. Together they enter a surfing competition and Holly's goal becomes winning the surfboard that is the prize. This book written in verse and beautifully illustrated is written in Haiku.
