The General Eyre

Originally published in 1922, this book presents the content of a series of lectures on the general eyre delivered in the University of London at the request of the Faculty of Laws. The text gives a concise account of the eyres from their development during the late twelfth century to their ultimate cessation at the end of the thirteenth.
