The Final Olympics

In a world where resources are dwindling, natural selection has taken a new turn. The Olympics, which take place every year, weed out the weak. The problem is that Eden is one of the weak, and she's not ready to be eliminated. Her best friend, Xander, will easily win a medal in the Olympics and be granted the chance to reach adulthood. Eden, on the other hand, will enter the fight for her life and is willing to use any dirty tricks necessary to make sure she receives a medal. Will she be able to win a medal, and if she doesn't, what does 'eliminated' really mean?
