The author then gives some recommendations on operating standards and organizational structure and suggests amendments to the Export-Import Bank Act. The book was written under a grant from the Sloan Foundation as part of a study on government sponsored enterprises. Both the Foundation and the author should be thanked for a job well done. The book is beautifully written and organized. The bibliography is excellent, and the content of the book is incisive, instructive, and constructive. We need more critical works on government sponsored enterprises. Let us hope the others will equal the quality of this book."-Bankers Magazine
