Tales of the Barf Table, Book Two

This is the second book in the Tales of the Barf Table series. Ninth grader Leah Russo has finally found her place at preppy Arbor High-not as a cheerleader or basketball player, but as a sportswriter and photographer for the school newspaper. Still dealing with the death of her big brother, everybody's hero, Leah accepts help from her diverse circle of friends, most of whom she met sitting at the table for misfits and troublemakers in the school cafeteria. This "Barf Table" farmily is led by Artie Bauer, a big farm boy and heavyweight on the wrestling team, and by Nicie Evans, a star on the hardwood and a real fighter herself. From Thanksgiving week to Valentine's Day in Oleander County, Leah, Artie, Nicie and the Barf Table gang deal with the wins and losses that every teenager faces in learning whom to trust and whom to love. They learn the value of being trouble shooters.
