Tales of the Barf Table Book One

Bruins footballer Artie "Yogi" Bauer is a grizzly on the gridiron, but a teddy bear in the Arbor High cafeteria, where he eats lunch with the school's outcasts: Leah Russo, the quiet girl who is struggling with the loss of her big brother; Bennie Pressler, the 9th-grade comedian who wishes he were as funny as a crutch; Nicie Evans, the transfer from rival Mimosa Beach High who has always had to fight for respect; and other social misfits at what the cool kids in school call the Barf Table. A disastrous homecoming at Arbor High and a Halloween night full of more tricks than treats teach Artie and the Barf Table gang an important lesson - that on and off the gridiron, even the best of friends are tried by fire in the crucible of teen society.
