"Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." (John 15:13, KJV) James Smith is the sheriff of a small town in Texas. His wife, Lara, is a member of the church, but he has no interest in a "God that doesn't exist." A date night that Lara doesn't show up to takes a turn.
