Social Groups and Identities

Originally published in 1996, this collection brought together the latest ideas of a distinguished set of authors, all of whom worked with Henri Tajfel in Bristol. Each had been profoundly influenced by Tajfel, an influence which encouraged a diversity of approaches, as well as the development of social identity theory itself.
