Sledges to the Rescue is the 3rd in a trilogy of children's classics by Raymond Briggs (author of The Snowman). Following The Strange House and Midnight Adventure (published in one volume by Manderley Press), these stories are set in, and inspired by, the author's childhood in Wimbledon, South London.
