Nixon's Economy

This text presents the history of Richard Nixon's political economy. Nixon came to office preoccupied with foreign policy, but had to deal with an economy that threatened him with political defeat. When the economy dipped into recession, he turned to John Connelly, Governor of Texas, for rescue.
