Erik Lieber (1950) is an artist and former doctor who, in addition to his medical work in social and public health care, made several (solo) exhibitions as a photographer beginning in 1983. Since 2014, his work has focused on found photography, exploring themes such as the relationship between ways of looking and the underlying value systems and images of man. In addition to his artistic work, Lieber has contributed to the art world as a gallery owner, publisher and board member of several foundations. He is also the author of several publications on art and organisational development.
