Molly Hashimoto: Birds & Other Wildlife Coloring Book

Seattle-based artist Molly Hashimoto celebrates nature in her artwork, creating beautiful images of the landscapes and wildlife she encounters in the national parks and wilderness areas of the West. In addition to her own artistry, Hashimoto is dedicated to connecting people to nature through hands-on art experiences. Camera and sketchbook in hand, she can be found leading aspiring artists out of doors for painting or into a studio for a block-printing or watercolor workshop. In this coloring book you'll find twenty-two unpainted block prints. Hashimoto's finished versions are reproduced on the inside front and back covers of this book. She creates rich, lush hues by hand-tinting with watercolor. You may choose to follow her natural color schemes, or create an alternate world of abstract colors. The last page of the book is blank so you can create a wildlife picture of your own, perhaps drawing a species you admire that lives near your home.
