Miracle on the Hudson

Soon after takeoff from LaGuardia Airport in New York, a flock of geese flew into Captain Sullenberger's plane and shut down its engines. This happened one cold afternoon on January 15, 2009. With one hundred fifty-five people aboard Flight 1549, the plane began to lose altitude.
