This book focuses on the essential principle of self awareness in leadership. This foundational element is complemented by four principles: self-management, social awareness, relationship building and making informed decisions. These principles are widely recognized as CASEL's 5, which are typically applied to early learning settings, but this book applies them to leaders through research studies, illustrative examples and personal stories.
