This book is a compilation of the 10-part Aspen Journalism series on community which began with regionalism-the notion of linked communities along the 80-mile commuter corridor from Aspen to Parachute-and concluded with the understanding that affordable, accessible housing is vital to sense of place, community cohesion, and well-being that comes from stability and security, the most fundamental of human needs.
