Iamblichus on the Mysteries of the Egyptians, Chaldeans, and Assyrians

Taylor's translation of Iamblichus' Greek text into English was first published in 1821. The Syrian-born Iamblichus (third century) is considered one of the great Neoplatonist philosophers.
