I Need A Session

Many times, when people ask me about my occupation and I answer, "I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor," they jokingly say, "I need a session." The responses remind me that therapy sessions create safe spaces for people to share thoughts and feelings. I believe relationships should create solutions, not problems.
