I'm the Boss of my Body

I'm the Boss of my Body is an innovated children's book, designed to help young children develop an awareness of their right to be safe, and what they can do if they feel that someone is not respecting those rights. With it's lively text and engaging illustrations, I'm the Boss of my Body seeks to directly engage young readers as well as parents, carers and professionals with a valuable opportunity to approach the subject of self protection in a gentle and non threatening manner. Involving children in regular discussion about keeping themselves safe develops decision making and problem solving skills. Furthermore, I'm the Boss of my Body has been written and illustrated to ensure that all family groups are able to utilise this book, without any limitations associated to diversity or family frame work.
