Hillary's Growing Pains

On a silent, cool night, all the hippos peacefully grazed. All the hippos but one. Hillary stood apart from the rest of her herd, staring into the water. She studied her reflection by the moonlight. Her herd had moved to a new drinking hole with much clearer water. For the first time, Hillary thought about the changes in her appearance. No longer a small calf, she tried to accept the changes to her appearance. This creature she saw reflected was a stranger to her. Hillary¿s Growing Pains is a picture book for 3-8 year olds that teaches the lesson of being who you are, and being happy about it.
