Gender Dynamics in Latin American Media and Communications

This book examines gender dynamics in Latin American media and communication, offering an interdisciplinary analysis that spans journalism, politics, feminism, and digital platforms. Organized into four parts, the volume moves from historical and structural issues to contemporary challenges, addressing phenomena such as feminist marches, anti-gender campaigns, and digital mobilisation, while emphasising the real-world implications of media dynamics on the lives of women in Latin America. Fernanda Vidal-Correa is Professor at Escuela de Comunicación, Universidad Panamericana, Mexico City.
