FDA - A Study In Incompetence

For decades, the Food and Drug Administration has had the authority to oversee that the nation's food and pharmaceutical drug supplies are safe and will cause no harm to the citizens. Sadly, the agency has failed to live up to its mandate. While many drugs are effective and mostly safe (all pharmaceutical drugs have side-effects), there is no guarantee that the FDA is watching them closely for dangerous reactions. That's the simple truth.
