Dreams of Home

Meg Oliphant was a schoolgirl when the war started. After her brother's death she continued writing to his best friend, Steven Caraford. Now the war is over and she is about to go to college. Steven has longed for the day when he can return to Scotland and continue the life he loves, but is dismayed to find he is no longer welcome there.
