Drawn Away

In 1924 eighteen year old Vallie Mae Brown had two loves, her horse Ches and sketching women's clothing of the day. Vallie lived on a farm in Clarke County, Virginia. Her mother said she was a dreamer and it was time for her to settle into the domestic side of life. Vallie had other ideas, and when an unforeseen opportunity arose, she was left with a decision that would alter the life that she knew. Could she be drawn away from all that was dear to her?
