Dance With Death

Mira would not stay dead. Blanche might be a necromancer, but not even they could truly resurrect the dead, which meant she needed to seek help from someone a great deal more powerful than her to get the job done. Unfortunately, the gods tend to ignore the Arcane, seeing the problems of mortals as beneath their notice. There's one more place she can look, but it means begging a favor from Death. Not a being known for his altruistic nature, she isn't truly surprised when he agrees to resurrect Blanche's sister, but only if she agrees to his impossible terms. Things only get more complicated when one of Death's reapers turns up murdered-not something that should normally be possible. Blanche ends up caught in the middle of a plot involving the strongest beings of death in the universe. A plot she can't resist because the abrasive, cold man she calls Death is much more than she ever expected he would be. And he knows a secret about her that even she wasn't aware of.
