Social relations of domination present teaching methods with a challenge, and confront it with the risk of reproducing them. In theoretical and empirical studies which use intersectionality to analyze conflicts and processes of othering as well as possibilities of change, Christine Riegel carves out the potential of intersectionality as a critical perspective for analysis and reflection for research and pedagogical practice: to what extent does othering occur in schools and youth work?
