Be different, be you

Becoming a parent is so exciting but can also be scary at the same time. Having a child who deals with medical complexities sometimes makes becoming a parent a little bit harder. My husband and I know firsthand because we have a child with medical needs. This book was inspired by our daughter, and it is here for you to rejoice with your child and to share all of the accomplishments your family and your child has overcome. This book is here because your child, just like ours, deserves to be celebrated, and so do you. This book will also serve as a good teaching tool for children and families without medical needs. One day at a time, you and I can make the world a more diverse, inclusive place.
