Ancient Perspectives on Aristotle's De Anima
Gerd Van Riel is Professor of Ancient Philosophy at the KU Leuven Institute of Philosophy. His main research areas are Plato and the Platonic tradition, especially later Neoplatonism (Proclus, Damascius), and saint Augustine. Pierre Destrée is Professor of Ancient Philosophy at the Université Catholique de Louvain (Institut de Philosophie). His main research area is Aristotelianism, with an emphasis on Aristotle's Ethics.
