Alphabet Zwoop

Humorous short poems and brightly colored animals introduce young children to the many sounds of letters. Each letter of the alphabet has at least one featured animal whose name illustrates the letter's sounds. The animals, and sometimes their human companions, are the subject of the short poems where the words all begin with the same letter. Alliteration and internal rhyme encourage readers and listeners to enjoy wordplay. Proceeds benefit the Academy of American Poets.
