Though it's written with young readers in mind, ABC Fruit is a delectable book for readers of all ages! It begins with the familiar; "A is for apple, a sweet and crunchy treat..." and introduces the novel, "J is for jackfruit, giant, juicy, and sweet." Each page reveals high-definition, full-color photos of fruit from A to Z. The words are written in simple, easy-to-read font, with alliteration and rhyming to help young readers follow along. The author, Heather Blume, is a dietitian with a master's degree in family and consumer sciences. She has experience working in the field of child nutrition and uses her insight into children's eating habits to help care providers and parents start talking to children about the fruit they eat.
